The Seven Chakras

A Guide To Cleansing, Purifying And Aligning Them:

Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning spinning wheel. Although there are twelve fifth dimensional Chakras, many people are still only working with the seven main chakras, for this reason, I will only talk about these seven chakra's in this post. Each chakra corresponds to an area of the body and can easily be misaligned, become out of balance and be full of toxic lower frequency energies. Practicing meditation and focusing your energies can help you to align your chakras so that they spin and work in a perfect way for your body. Understanding how to cleanse, purify and align your chakras can help bring balance and peace to your mind, body and spirit.

These seven chakras are each associated with different parts of the body along the spine from the perineum to the crown of your head. Each chakra is associated with a particular body location, a colour, a central emotional/behavioural issue, as well as many other personal aspects including identity, goals, rights, etc.

The seven chakras are:

Root - Colour is red- is located at base of your spine

Sacral- Colour is Orange- is located just below your naval

Solar Plexus- Colour is yellow- is located in centre just below your rib cage

Heart area- Colour is Green with a tinge of pink- is located in the centre of your chest

Throat- Colour is blue- is self explanatory

Third eye- Colour is indigo- is located between your eyes

Crown- Colour is Violet- is located at the top of your head

Through meditation, using crystals, the movements and postures of yoga, you can learn to focus your concentration and energy to and from the various chakras in your body to clear, purify and align them which allows them to work in a perfect way for you and your body.

This spiritual energy is known as Kundalini energy. In its dormant state, it can be visualized as a coiled up snake resting at the base of your spine, the Root chakra. Since the chakras act as valves or pumps regulating the flow of energy through your system, controlled and purposeful movements such as yoga can be extremely beneficial in realigning your chakras in a way that can cause great benefits to you in your physical and emotional wellbeing.

Sound healing, the use of chakra essence sprays and colour therapy are also very effective ways of balancing, realigning and cleansing your chakras. These are examples of the many ways you can bring your chakras back into balance and alignment.
